Gender Reveal

We had our 19 week anatomy ultrasound this week!  Both babies are healthy and normal!!  We had a lot of fun seeing you both (in incredible detail) during the ultrasound. It wasn't until 1/2 way through  the ultrasound that I realized your daddy had no idea what he was looking at!  Whoops!  But back to the exciting part.....

Week 17

How far along? 17 weeks, 3 days!

Materiny clothes? I am wearing maternity shirts when not at work but my pants still fit (phew!)

Stretch marks? None so far

Sleep? Seriously the cough. 


Best moment this week?  I felt the two of you move this week!

Have you told Family and Friends?  Everyone is excited about our growing family. 

Movement? Yes!!! It is so cool...until you kick my bladder when I am working. 

Food cravings?   I am soooo hungry all the time!

Anything making you sick? No sickness

Have you started to show yet? Getting there















Gender prediction? Can't wait to find out! Gender reveal is so soon!

Labor Signs? Nope. Hopefully not for a while

Happy or Moody most of the time? Tired all the time which leads to crabby :(

Weekly Wisdom? 

Milestones? Feeling you two move is the coolest thing ever!

Week 16

How far along? 16 weeks; 5 days! 

Materiny clothes? Not needed yet! I did go shopping for maternity scrubs (so far I hate them all) and clothes (I wanted to buy everything!). 

Stretch marks? None so far

Sleep? I can't seem to shake this cough which is making sleep difficult.


Best moment this week? We got to hear your heartbeats at the doctor appointment on Monday!

Have you told Family and Friends?  Everyone is excited about our growing family. 

Movement? I cannot wait to feel you two move!  I keep hoping I will feel it but I'm having a hard time differentiating GI movement and Baby movement. 

Food cravings?   Pasta! I love pasta.

Anything making you sick? Not feeling sick this week!! Loving this phase. I eat all the time. 

Have you started to show yet? A little especially after eating my 3rd lunch  :)













Gender prediction? Can't wait to find out! Only 2.5 weeks until our appointment for the 20 week ultrasound!!

Happy or Moody most of the time? Started getting a little moody where I am tired and that makes me crabby (not sure your father is enjoying this phase)

Week 14

We had a second ultrasound appointment this week to look for early signs of genetic abnormalities. No abnormalities seen so far!  We watched one of you swallow and the other one kick your sibling in the face.  It was fun to see how much movement you two are capable of.  Your dad was very surprised with all that movement that I still cannot feel anyting--but not yet...I hope I will get to feel you two moving soon.  

How far along? 14 weeks; 6 days! 

Materiny clothes? Not needed yet!

Stretch marks? Not yet. Still trying to remember to use lotion to prevent them.

Sleep? The doctor recommended a sleep aid to help with nausea.  It is also helping us sleep like a log!! Loving it!


Best moment this week? Seeing you two move on ultrasound was incredible! Your Grandma and Grandpa Beesley came to visit this week!

Movement? Not yet but soon I hope

Food cravings?   Pasta! I want anything with Pasta!! I also want anything we can't have, like blue cheese and sushi.

Anything making you sick? First week with no morning sickness!

Have you started to show yet? Hard to distinguish showing from food baby... A very minor baby bump noted this week.  


Gender prediction? Can't wait to find out! We scheduled our appointment for the 20 week ultrasound!!

Happy or Moody most of the time? I am thrilled to be done puking! Feeling more excited about the pregnancy now that I can eat again!

Week 10.5

This week we got to tell your Grandparents and your Aunts and Uncles about you!  We told your Grandparents over Skype.  The response was great! (see below pictures!)

Materiny clothes? Not yet but I've gotten some great options donated to us

Sleep? Sleeping is going better :)

Anything making you sick? Turns out I am great at puking :) Morning sickness almost every night now.
